Biography

For two decades, Dov Simens has been teaching aspiring filmmakers all over the world how to make movies and navigate the complex business of motion pictures. He learned about the industry not from film school theory but from street reality, working in Los Angeles as a Production Manager and Producer on features. Before founding the Hollywood Film Institute and developing the acclaimed 2 Day Film School, he taught courses at UCLA, USC and NYU.
