If you have never used Photoshop, the Introduction class will ease you
into starting out with this great program. If you have tried to use Photoshop
here and there but never felt comfortable, the first few hours of the Basic
Class will begin to build a solid foundation for understanding and using
this program. Here is what we cover:
Basic Techniques (1st two Saturdays: 9/13 & 9/27 • 9am-5pm)

- Painting / Filling / Brush Options / Color Options
- Selection Tools & Techniques
- Retouching / History Undo’s / Basic Image Adjustments
- Layers - Creating & Editing
Advanced Techniques (2nd two Saturdays:10/18 & 10/25 • 9am-5pm)
- Advanced Layers
- Vector Imaging: Paths / Shapes / Type
- Image Adjustments: Brightness / Contrast / Color / Adjustment Layers
- Filters / Creative Image Editing
- Color Mgt / Print Output / Actions
Small Classes - Personal Hands-on Attention
Joe Robbins started teaching Photoshop in 1994 with version 2.5 at HCC
and has been a Photoshop instructor ever since. He taught at The Art
Institute of Houston for 21 years and has done teacher workshops at Lee
College in Baytown and The Art Institute, and has offered the Learn
Photoshop Workshops for three years.
