Developing the Leader Within

Leaders Never Stop Growing. Whether you wish to refine your leadership skills in a new position or an established career, the American Marketing Association's leadership program will help you establish principles and practices to Develop the Leader Within.

You will learn about:

Authentic Leadership - Developing authentic leadership involves acting in ways that are consistent with one's self concept, and these actions sometimes involve courage and wisdom. Knowing yourself well enough to discover where you can use your leadership gifts to serve others.
Ethical Decision Making - Learn how leaders develop internal principles and act skillfully and confidently in ethical decision making situations.
Emotional Intelligence - Learn what an Emotional Intelligence Quotient is, and how to develop it to a higher level.
Career-pathing - How to create an Executive Presence and use it for your career advancement through the dimensions of pace, workload, schedule and location.
Communication and Connection Styles - Learn how to identify the four types of connection styles so you can easily build rapport with others, leading to alliances and strategic partnerships.
