Kelly Moran of Texas Collaborative Arts in Houston and Steve Cruz founder of Mighty Fine Arts in Dallas were co-curators of “Houston Vs Dallas Smackdown” round 2, held at Mighty Fine Arts and The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College, Dallas TX. in January of 2010 following the Dallas Houston Smackdown Part I with the T.C.A. Studio hosting Dallas area artists in December 2009. Dallas and Houston have been rivals on many fronts and this exchange presented an opportunity for the art communities to co mingle and have an exchange.
